Midland, TX, May 20, 2011 -- Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: NGS) a leading provider of gas compression equipment and services to the natural gas industry, announced today the fabrication of its 2000th natural gas compression rental fleet unit.  This particular unit was a standard WELLMAKERTM model that was fabricated in our Midland, TX facility and is already under rental contract to a customer in east Texas. In addition to this milestone and as of the fourth quarter of 2010, NGS now ranks as the third largest rental fleet owner/operator as tracked by the GCA (Gas Compressor Association) in the natural gas compression equipment rental industry when measured by number of units.  Stephen Taylor, President and CEO of NGS, said, "Although our objective has never been to achieve a certain number of units in our fleet, it is gratifying that customer demand and response has enabled us to become the third largest fleet in the US.
